The life of the Slayer
Buffy's life before 'El Boco Del Infierno' (the Hellmouth i.e.Sunnydale)
Buffy Anne Summers was born in 1981. her parents are Hank and Joyce Summers.Buffy began Hemery High School, Los Angeles, in the autumn of 1995.
In 1996, she was elected the equivalent of 'May Queen', and told by a Watcher named Merrick, that she was the Chosen One, The Slayer.
Buffy did not want to accept this role at the beginning. Shortly after, Merrick was killed, and Buffy burned down the school building. In the same year, Hank and Joyce finalised their divorce.
Joyce got custody of Buffy, and, together they moved to 1630 Revello Drive in Sunnydale, California. Joyce opened her own art gallery, and Buffy enrolled in Sunnydale High School.
Buffy thought that she had escaped her role as the Slayer, she was wrong.
On the first day of school, Rupert Giles, the school librarian, introduced himself as Buffy's new Watcher.
Buffy reluctantly took on her position as the Slayer, but accepted her responsibilities nonetheless.

First season summaryIn the first season; Buffy met Angel, a vampire with a soul, whom she later has a relationship with (beginning towards the end of the first season).At the end of the first season, Buffy was killed by the Master. She was brought back to life by her friend Xander. Buffy then 'killed' the Master.

Second season summary
In the second season; Buffy and Angel finally had sex, but there was to be no fairytale ending for them. Buffy and Angel having sex resulted in the release of the curse which had restored Angel's soul. Angel had experienced 'one moment of true happiness' and now returned to being his evil former self, Angelus.At the end of the second season, Buffy had to stop Angelus from bringing forth Armageddon, the only way that she could do this was by sending her one true love straight to hell. She did this, then departed Sunnydale on a bus, leaving behind only a note for her mother.

This is one of my favorite images
In the third season; Buffy was in Los Angeles (where she had ran away to), when she realised that she could not escape her duties as the Slayer, or her memories. She returned to Sunnydale, to her worried mother (who is no longer ignorant to her daughter's given career).Towards the middle of the third series, Angel returned, but was not quite himself.
At the end of the third season, just when the Slayer and her 240- something year old vampire boyfriend have began to have the happiness which they deserve, Buffy's over-protective mum decided to give Angel advice.
Angel considered Joyce's advice, and, at the end of the third season, after he helped Buffy to prevent the Mayor's ascension, he took Joyce's advice and left. Buffy destroyed another of her school buildings
